2010 So Far....

This year has already had it's ups and downs... Chris had been working back at Hardware Sales since September, which I was very grateful that he got his job back there with them. Only problem was they didn't have room in Rentals for him so he became their new warehouse lead. He didn't seem to love the new position but in the economy you take what you get for work and we were lucky for him to even have a job. He was about to switch back over to Rentals for the Spring/Summer since they need more help renting out lawn mowers and other around the house type of equipment.

Then the other day the owner of Dair Queen found him at work and asked if he was looking for a job. Chris asked him what the job was and it was working for Mt Baker Vineyards as a warehouse person/delivery driver. He doesn't have the best driving record in the world and made sure that they could insure him before he took the new job. He got a phone call at about 5pm on Monday night asking when he could start, so he went in yesterday (which is his normal day off from Hardware Sales) and started learning the ropes.

He found out yesterday he gets to make deliveries as far south as the Space Needle and to the San Juans. Sounds like a very fun job for him. He went into Hardware Sales yesterday afternoon to give his 2 weeks notice and was told to hang up his keys and not come back, so as of today he started his new job and so far it's sounds like it's going pretty good. He gets to go out tomorrow to do some deliveries with the person he is replacing and learn how that works. This weekend he gets to work a wine dinner, which is where people come to the winery and have a 5-course meal and try a different kind of wine with each meal and then decide to buy the wines they liked the best, I have been invited to go out for it as well to see how it all works but I'm not really I wine drinker so I think I would feel a little outta place there.

As for my job it is going really good. Staying busy, thinking about attempting to join a gym soon because Wii Fit just isn't cutting it for me. Hope everyone elses year has been going good so far. I will try to write here a little more often if I remember. :)

2009 Year in Review...

Here are some pictures from 2009....

Was 2009 good for you? Overall I think 2009 was a very good year for both of us. Planning a wedding and spending time with friends and family as much as we could
What was you favorite moment of the year? Dancing in the rain at our wedding it's a day I will never forget!
What was your worst moment of the year? A lot of financial problems, Chris losing his job for a few months put us in a very hard and stressful place but we made it through and he's back to working full time.

Where were you when 2009 began? At Richmond Sushi and then at home for the rest of the night.
Who were you with? With Chris, Craig & Sammi.
Where were you when 2009 ended? At Craig & Sammi's house, and then we came home just in time to watch the Space Needle fireworks on TV.

Did you keep your new years resolution of 2009? I didn't make any resolutions, I never end up keeping them no matter how hard I try. Chris made a resolution to not drink pop, but it only lasted a few weeks into the new year.

Do you have a new years resolution for 2010? Work on building a stronger marriage. I'm not sure if Chris has set any resolutions for this year or not.

Did you fall in love in 2009? I fell in love all over again with the person I met 5 1/2 years ago, and am very glad I get to spend the rest of my life with him.
Did you make any new friends in 2009? I would say I made some stronger friendships with a few people and met some of Chris's friend's wifes and girlfriends.
What was your favorite month of 2009? July!

Why this month? We had an awesome time blowing stuff up on 4th of July, we both had amazing bachelor/bachelorette parties with some great friends, got married and had one of the biggest parties of our lives so far, and got to take a fun trip to Port Angeles and just spend some much needed to time together.

Did you travel outside the US in 2009? Just to Canada quite a few times.

How many different places did you travel to in 2009? We went to Port Angeles for our honeymoon, Canada a few times, and Seattle that's about it.

What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2009? Chris would probably say Transformers or The Hangover. I really like The Blind Side, Bride Wars and Confessions of a Shopaholic.

What was you favorite song from 2009? There are way to many to name!

Did you have a favorite concert of 2009? I think the only concert we went to was Kenny Chesney/Sugarland and it would have been really great it our seats would have been a little bit lower in the stadium.

What was your favorite book in 2009? A lot of wedding planning books helped me out.
Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year? Nothing that I can think of except not staying in touch with a lot of people.
What was the biggest lie you told in 2009? I think when people asked if we were nervous about getting married your reaction is to always say no everythings fine..
Did you treat someone badly in 2009? I'm sure with all the stress of the wedding there were some points I was very mean to people.

Did someone treat you badly in 2009? Same as above I'm sure with the stress of the wedding and everything we had a few arguments with people.

What was your proudest moment of 2009? Signing our marriage ceritifcate. I was proud of how far we have come in the last 5 1/2 years

What was your most embarrassing moment of 2009? Hmmm, nothing to crazy happened... fell a couple of times in public silly things like that but we are both just very clumsy people.
If you could go back to any moment of 2009 and change something, what would it be? I don't think I would change anything... If there would have been a way for Chris to not lose his job I would have changed that but life happens.

Where did you work in 2009? I worked at the same office I've been at for almost 3 years... Chris work at Hardware Sales, Robinson hardwood, and then back to Hardware Sales
